Prof. Dr. Vladas Bumelis is the Founder of Celltechna. He has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, having previously served as General Manager of Sicor Biotech UAB (now Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.), Chairman of the Board for biotech companies Biotechpharma, Biofa and Biotechna, and Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the Institute of Applied Enzymology in Lithuania. In 2004, Dr. Bumelis received the Science Award of Lithuania in recognition of his achievements in the development and production of recombinant proteins. He has a PhD and an MSc in Chemistry, as well as a PhD in Biotechnology, from Vilnius University. Dr. Bumelis is also a registered member of the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences. View profile. Džiugas Paulauskas has more than 15 years of experience in biotechnology and biopharma. Prior to joining Celltechna, he served in various senior development, operations and executive management roles in biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. He has an MSc in Pharmacy, as well as a PhD in Biochemistry, from the Institute of Biotechnology, Vilnius.
Valerijus Lisovas has been working in the medical and biotech industry for more than 7 years as an Engineering and Maintenance Shared Service Manager for both biotech CDMO facility and Northway medical sites. He has a BA in Transport Engineering Economics and Management. Over the course of his career, Valerijus has accumulated vast experience in managing large-scale projects related to the expansion of companies, as well as overseeing facilities management and engineering inquiries at multiple sites.
Justas Baubonis has over 15 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management. Before joining Celltechna, he worked in retail chain management. Justas holds a BA in Business Management.
Agnė Akulavičiūtė has more than 7 years of experience in administration and organization of the company's activities. Agne has a background in law and administration.
